Del.icio.us, Pukka and (more) AppleScript
From splee.blog:
The following AppleScript takes the current page in safari and uses Pukka to send the link to del.icio.us. If there is any text selected it gets added as the description, as does the referrer. The slight twist is that it uses some javascript to ask what tags to assign to the page. [...] That is as near as it gets to Safari integration with del.icio.us from what I can find.
Thanks for the work on this, Lee. I was hoping someone would figure out how to get it to ask for tags. ![]()

Hi there. I don’t have any plans for Windows as I don’t do Windows programming. Sorry!

Hi! I was just wondering if there is any way of retrieving information on a site which I already have posted to del.icio.us? I have this memory thing where I forget if I have posted a site or not. If I have, I would like Pukka to retrieve the tags and information I used in the previous post, just like the Firefox extension does. Can this be solved using AppleScript and the del.icio.us API?
Btw, thanks for the great work, still evaluating Pukka but considering the price I will probably register soon

Hmm, I wonder if it could… it would be a kind of complex AppleScript though. However, I am working on some functionality in Pukka for this “memory loss”
I do it too and it would be useful to get the past details on a post when you get ready to re-post. Stay tuned, it’s hopefully coming soon!
