IPhoto Sharing?

A quick look at iPhoto sharing using Bonjour Browser (a very handy utility, by the way) tells me that the service is called _dpap._tcp. and the port is 8770.

However, doing some basic testing seems to reveal that this won't work out of the box. Meerkat includes some special settings for iTunes and it looks like iPhoto might require the same sort of thing.

I can look into support for iPhoto in an upcoming release.

I have still been looking into this, but don't expect it in the next release. There seems to be another level to iPhoto sharing than to iTunes I think. I am emulating iTunes and other apps/code that provide photo shares, but still have issues. I'll keep working on it, though.
