I'm happy to make available what I hope will become the next major release of Meerkat, version 1.2 Release Candidate 1.

This release focuses on the following:
- A number of issues with AppleScript support on Tiger have been fixed.
- A small bug in the keyboard tab-focus loop has been fixed in the Advanced preferences pane.
- The command-line tool has been renamed from mkat to meerkat.
- Debug logging to the console has been removed. This will be re-implemented in a future release.
- Code signing has been added to the build. In practical terms, this should mean less clicking to approve new versions of Meerkat accessing your keychain items.

If no significant issues are found with this build, it will be released as Meerkat 1.2. Please feel free to report any issues with it as a response to this post.
