I have Pukka’s prefs set to hide after posting. Now that we have bookmark searching (nice, thanks), I don’t want to invoke an empty Pukka window every time I search. So can you make it so that the window closes before the app hides?
May I also take this chance to ask again for a HUD instead of yet another menubar icon for searching?
Thanks!
When I want to bookmark something, I cmd-1 to invoke the bookmarklet (at position 1 in the bar). I save the bookmark, and Pukka hides as it should (but the window is left open as if I want to do another bookmark). Then later, I might use my defined search shortcut to look for something in Pukka, and instead of just a clean search interface, I also the that open Pukka window back. I never touch the dock icon. My dock stays hidden. I am a minimalist. That's also why I want to get rid of the menubar icon and just have a HUD come up for my search.
Hi Rick. Look for this in the next beta of 1.8.4, due out this week.

I have been thinking about adding this due to a couple other requests. You must be clicking on the Dock icon to bring Pukka up. If you Command-Tab to it or use a global search keystroke, the window won't come up, even if open but hidden.
