Would it be possible to have an option that allows you to choose where the application appears (menu, dock, both). Currently, it shows in both. I use the menu bar icon the most...unless this is already a feature and I just don't know it, then please let me know ;-).

Hi Joe. I've had requests both for eliminating the dock icon entirely as well as eliminating the menu bar entirely :-)
Right now, since 1.8, the menu bar is not optional anymore since that is the only place for the search functionality (aside from the system Spotlight integration).
I would like to make the dock icon optional and hope to do so in a future version (kind of like Meerkat does) however this is a bigger task than in Meerkat because of the points of integration that Pukka has with other apps -- Spotlight, news readers, bookmarklet, opening desktop URL files, AppleScript. etc.
