in menu bar search item, can't open a URL contains multibyte characters

Is it a bug?
I'm using Pukka 1.8.3 with OS X 10.6.2.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bookmark a multibyte URL
2. Search the multibyte URL in menu bar
3. Select the URL and press Enter, but can't open.
