This issue seems to be related to the reports in these threads:

After upgrading to 1.8.2, Pukka immediately was unable to access my delicious account, producing the login failure error message. I have verified my delicious account details on the delicious website, in the Pukka Keychain entry, and in Pukka preferences.

Performing a clean install does not resolve the issue. Reverting to 1.8.1 or testing the recent beta do not correct the issue.

Sorry for the trouble. Had

Sorry for the trouble.

Had you used Pukka just before upgrading to 1.8.2? The method of access hasn't been changed, just the frequency of responses when there is a problem.

Also, are you able to post when this is happening? That could point to a discrepancy between the caching and posting sides of Delicious (which has been noted many, many times, unfortunately).

Thanks for your patience.

Yes, I had been using 1.8.1

Yes, I had been using 1.8.1 successfully. Upon upgrading to 1.8.2, Pukka is suddenly no longer able to access my delicious account. My bookmarks do not cache, nor am I able to post a new bookmark via Pukka—I only get the login failure error message. Reverting to 1.8.1 does not resolve the problem.

Removing all Pukka-associated files and installing the recently released 1.8.3 does not correct the issue.

Just to cover all the bases,

Just to cover all the bases, have you by any chance merged your Delicious account with a Yahoo! ID recently?

Another thing to try -- you didn't mention specifically if you had -- is to remove the keychain entry for account, then re-add via Pukka's preferences.

Thanks for your patience.

No, I haven't merged my Delicious account with a yahoo! ID.

I removed the keychain entry and attempted to re-add via Pukka preferences. The new keychain item was added, but I continue experience this issue (login failure error message, my bookmarks do not cache, unable to save new bookmark).

Edit: Also, I've repaired permissions.

In case it makes a difference, all of my delicious bookmarks are marked private. Since 1.8.2, does Pukka only access public bookmarks? (This may not be the case, since reverting to 1.8.1 does not resolve the issue.)

Bookmarks being public or

Bookmarks being public or private shouldn't be an issue, as you suspect.

Can you try these URLs in a browser when this is happening? Use the same login info.

You should get out some XML, but if you get an error or a login problem, that's a lead to this problem.

I apologize for the back and forth with this. I've found that 99 times out of 100 it's Delicious acting up for some reason, so this test might help.

If the above links output XML properly, please feel free to contact me directly using the contact form and I can try better to resolve the problem.

I've also submitted this via the contact form in case you'd prefer to continue troubleshooting this via email.
