Hi. Pukka, after adding my account details, begins to download the cache and never ends. I end up force quitting it.
I've tried several times throughout the day to no avail. I even deleted it's folder in 'application support'. Any other ideas? Here's the only message in Console about Pukka:
8/1/09 4:34:54 PM Pukka[61182] __CFServiceControllerBeginPBSLoadForLocalizations timed out while talking to pbs

I'm not sure what that error is about -- never seen it before. I believe pbs refers to the pasteboard server, which is basically the clipboard. I'm not sure how that's being brough into the mix.
Can you please try going to the following URL, entering your Delicious account info, and seeing if the page loads?

Also, how many bookmarks do you have on Delicious?

Pukka caches bookmarks forever
I also have this problem that Pukka caches forever.
Despite the fact that my bookmarks are fully cached and I can use the Pukka menu to search and access them, the "Caching bookmarks for the first time" window stays open on my screen all the time and all the menu items in the Pukka, File, Edit, Window and Help menus stay grayed out. Even when I get a Growl message "Local cache updated", the "Caching bookmarks for the first time" window stays open.
I have reinstalled Pukka, deleted all preference files and the Pukka folder in the Application Support folder, and still have the problem. I even created a brand-new user account on my machine and tried to run Pukka from there, but I had the same problem.
I visited the URL you listed (https://api.del.icio.us/v1/posts/all) and it results in a blank screen and the source returned is:

I have 4336 bookmarks on Delicious, which Pukka correctly reports on the Pukka menu. I can search and access all of them just fine via the Pukka menu. I just can't get the caching window to go away.
I do NOT get the log message mentioned in the original post. The only log entry I see related to Pukka is:
10/16/09 22:42:11 Pukka[458] Initializer-based scripting additions have been deprecated. Please update this addition: "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax"
Any ideas?

Drew: If you are still seeing
Drew: If you are still seeing this 'access denied' message, please double-check your login and password, then contact Delicious support about it. You should be seeing all of your bookmarks there and if you're not, Pukka can't get them, either.

"Caching bookmarks for the first time"
Hi, I am having the same problem as described by Drew. Upon launching Pukka the "Caching..." window doesn't disappear. Logging onto Delicious in the browser works fine. I have got around 1500 bookmarks. Any suggestions?
