downloaded the demo, ran it. now all 7400 bookmarks are gone off the delicious server.
bang up job there.
thankfully I backed up before as I had a strange feeling this app felt dodgy but I tried it anyway.

First off, I apologize if there has been a problem. If Pukka ever downloaded your bookmarks, there will be a full backup, available by going to Pukka > View Backup Folder... in the app.
Second, I have never heard of a report of Pukka deleting bookmarks in over four years of the application existing. In fact, the only API calls that it makes -- whatsoever -- are to post new bookmarks, check the time of the last bookmark posted, download all bookmarks, download the most recent bookmarks, and post over top of an old bookmark. There are no calls to delete bookmarks in Pukka.
Can you provide a bit more info about the circumstances where this happened? Can you provide more info as to why you feel the app is dodgy? If you look at the Delicious account called 'getpukka', available here, you can see over 500 positive mentions of Pukka that I have cataloged over the years by other users. And those are just the ones that I've explicitly come across.
Again, I'm sorry if you had a data loss (even if you did have a backup), but I can't believe that Pukka was at fault and I'd definitely like to get to the bottom of it.
