Pukka not searching bookmarks

Hello again,

I posted earlier about a different Pukka issue of tags not posting to Delicious (for Tiger).

I also came across another problem with Pukka 1.8.2: the search function does not work either. Pukka will have cached my bookmarks to memory. When I display Pukka's menu bar search, the total number of bookmarks will show. But when I type in the search bar, no results are listed. I believe in version 1.8.0, the search function worked without a problem.

I realize that support for Tiger will not continue in version 1.9; so I post for the endangered Tiger users out there who are facing similiar problems with Pukka 1.8.2. Perhaps there was an earlier version that was much stabler for Tiger that can be re-released for Tiger users?

Any and all responses are welcome.

Thank you,

My setup info:
Pukka 1.8.2
Mac OS: 10.4.11 (Tiger)

I will research what might be

I will research what might be causing this (as well as your other Tiger issue) and post back. In the meantime, you can try any of the past releases using this download URL:

http://codesorcery.net/downloads/Pukka_(version).dmg

For example, replace "(version)" with "1.8" to download 1.8.

Can you let me know if those perform any differently with your setup?

Pukka not saving bookmarks in 10.6

I'm on 10.6 and 1.8.2 but Pukka has stopped saving to delicious from bookmarklet. Delicious bookmarklet is OK

Hi David. How is it not

Hi David. How is it not working? Does it not bring Pukka forward in front of the browser? Or is there a problem using Pukka after it comes forward?

Also, are you using Firefox and did you recently upgrade it? Since Pukka uses its own URL style (pukka://) some browsers such as Firefox treat it differently and will occasionally revert settings to block it. You can fix this by typing about:config in the address bar and searching for Pukka.

my mistake

Justin - thanks for coming back. Found pukka was defaulting to the second delicious account I use, and I hadn't noticed. Bookmarks saved, just in a different place, so no problem.
