Is there any chance of making Pukka's search learn what you've searched for in the past?
It would be great if it pushed bookmarks you search for often to the top of the search results list in the same way LaunchBar and Quicksilver do (and to a certain extent Spotlight also).
Hi Jono,
Sure, this is a good suggestion. Currently, you may notice that it's in order of most recent first. I am collecting latent data about how many times a link is opened in Pukka, so that could be used to bring a link closer to the top, perhaps optionally with a global preference.
I'll put this on the list and see how it feels. Thanks for the suggestion!
Sorry, to be clear, the reordering is not in there at all right now, only the visit count is. Results are always ordered by date right now.
That's an interesting idea -- I'll look into it!
I've added an option, off by default, to sort search results by visit count. So, each time you visit a bookmark from Pukka, whether by search result or dock menu, its count is incremented by one. Bigger counts show up closer to the top of the search results.
Whether or not you turn on this feature, the statistics are still collected, so there is no long-term harm in turning it off.
Glad this is working for you. I have been considering the auto-selection of the first result and may yet change that, so stay tuned!

I didn't notice that, sounds like a good idea :)
It doesn't appear to be working for me though. I've just done some searches for a few bookmarks in Pukka over and over again, and the order doesn't change for them here.
If you were to implement Pukka learning past searches and moving them to the top of the results it sounds like a good idea to make it a preference that you'd turn on.
