I recently installed Pukka on a new computer and configured all preferences as I had them.
The search shortcut was set to ctrl space but it isn't working.
I've tried changing it to other key strokes but it still doesn't work.
Any thoughts?

Does Pukka report that the shortcut gets set ok? Or that there is a conflict?
Can you also try opening Applications > Utilities > Console and seeing if Pukka is saying anything there regarding the shortcut?

Issue is back
Ok After my last issue and resolution everything was fine until about 3 days ago.
Now it appears that Pukka is running without the the menubar item. So even if the search shortcut was functional there is no menu item for the field to drop from.
Here is the entry from Console
5/28/10 9:26:25 AM Pukka[44540] *** -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (1) beyond bounds (1)
Any ideas?

Hmm, something odd is going on. I will email you off-forum with some instructions to send me a couple things so I can fix this.

I uninstalled Pukka and all associated files then reinstalled and set it back up.
It seems to be working now.
