Since soon after buying Pukka I have a problem in that the URL shortcut don't work. The +1 shortcut does nothing even when I confirm Pukka is running and showing in the menu bar. I tried adding a new shortcut but was told +1 is already in use by the URL command.

To get the Pukka dialogue, I click on the Menu bar icon, but still the description text and other information from the page I'm on is not included.

I have just installed version 1.8.1 but the problem remains and a fix for it was not listed in the change log. I am running OSX 10.5.7. Can you help?

Thank you.

Hi Ian. Did you install the

Hi Ian.

Did you install the bookmarklet from within Pukka? e.g., the web page with a red background that is brought up from Pukka > Integrate With Browser...

Also, which web browser are you trying to use the bookmarklet with?

Hi Justin, I didn't know you

Hi Justin,

I didn't know you had replied has I got no email notification, and I see no search in the forum, fortunately I found this thread.

I recall I did install the Bookmarklet, though I don't know where from, but I removed it again. I just added it again in a nested folder on my Safari Toolbar from the page you suggested. I don't have room on the toolbar itself, but the bookmarklet works from the nested folder. I quit Pukka and Safari and restarted both. The shortcut/populating problem remains.

Thanks for your help.

If I'm understanding you

If I'm understanding you right, you are still trying to use Command-1 to activate the bookmarklet. Unless it is in your bookmarks bar, this will not work. Only the first bookmark in the bookmarks bar gets this shortcut. Each one after it in the bar gets the next number in order.

As for clicking on the menu bar icon, this does not currently pass the current browser info. We're working on that, but it takes some different AppleScripting for each browser to determine what is the browser in use and then get that browser's front web page info.
