I have enabled "Enable private bookmarking" in the Interfaces tab of Preferences. I then toggle Privacy (cmd-L) in a new post so that it is "locked" = private. Subsequently new posts always default to "public". I have tried saving position, but I can't seem to make "private by default" stick. Can you put in an explicit choice in the preferences? Thanks.

I have gotten the occasional request for this. I will look into adding it to the next release as an option.

I would definitely appreciate
I would definitely appreciate this feature too. More often than not, I'd like my bookmarks to be private.
